Hi guys, I’m Owen — a Reiki practitioner working with the Golden Tera Mai system of healing.

 

My journey with Reiki began as a personal search for balance and understanding. Over time, that search developed into a deep connection with energy work, and ultimately led me to the Golden Tera Mai lineage — a form of Reiki that feels both ancient and profoundly compassionate. Though I never looked for reiki specifically, but i'm sure the energy has a way of finding you when you most need it, and when you are ready to evolve.

Golden Tera Mai Reiki was founded by Kathleen Milner in the 1990s, following the traditional Usui Reiki teachings but expanded through additional attunements and symbols. The “Golden” frequency within this lineage is known for its grounding and purifying nature — helping to clear emotional and energetic blockages, while restoring peace, vitality, and alignment. It works with both Earth and Source energy in harmony, making it a gentle yet powerful healing modality.

In my practice, I create a calm and open space where this golden energy can flow freely - using me as a channel. Each session is guided by intention and trust — allowing Reiki to reach the places it’s most needed, whether physical, emotional, or spiritual. My role is simply to facilitate that process, helping you reconnect with your natural sense of balance and wellbeing.

Reiki came into my life during a time when I felt disconnected and in need of renewal. I was lost, looking for answers, and in need of a greater sense of purpose and gust for life. The first time I experienced Golden Tera Mai energy, was in a little Spanish village in the heart of Frigliana, Spain. It felt like coming home — a deep sense of peace that words couldn’t quite explain. That moment sparked a calling to learn, to share, and to help others rediscover the same sense of harmony and clarity within themselves.

For me, Reiki is more than a healing method — it’s a reminder that everything we seek already exists within us. The energy helps us return to that awareness, one breath at a time.
